Co-Founder / Social Media, Advertising & Marketing Coordinator
Jenna Bower is in her senior year in the Communications Design program at UB. Jenna is UB Sustainability’s in-house Graphic Designer and the Creative Director of Marketing for Sub-Board 1, Inc., a Graphic Designer for the UB Office of Special Events, a design intern with the UB College of Arts and Sciences and a freelance graphic designer on the side. She previously held the positions of Creative Director and Advertising Designer at The Spectrum, UB’s student run newspaper. Jenna is interested in how graphic design and sustainability intertwine and inform each other and hopes to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design to earn a MFA in Design for Sustainability. When she’s not working, you can usually find her cuddling with her toy fox terrier and watching Ted Talks.

Katrina Cropo is in her senior year in the Psychology and Education program at the University at Buffalo. Currently Katrina is working as Career Peer Advisor in the Office of Career Services, aiding students in the development of professional skills for life after college. In her free time she helps to organize and direct UB’s Professional Co-educational Environmental Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Chi. Developing new methods of educating the general public about sustainability and getting people excited about learning new things are just two of Katrina’s life-long ambitions. In her down time you can find her indulging in science fiction films and playing with her 9 month old husky.

Shelby Marra is in her senior year in the Business Administration program at UB, concentrating in Marketing. Shelby is currently a waitress at the Dockside Bar & Grill in North Tonawanda and is a member of UB’s Professional Co-educational Business Fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon. She previously held the position as Vice President of Marketing for Pi Sigma Epsilon and helped generate impactful recruitment themes to market the benefits of the fraternity. Upon graduation, she hopes to find a job in the field relating to green marketing. In her spare time you can find her getting lost on some nature trail.
Matt is a beer enthusiast and an aspiring vegetarian with an Associates in Liberal Arts with a concentration in the Social Sciences. He plans to obtain a BA in Political Science as soon as Bernie enacts policies to reduce or eliminate the enormous price tag on higher education. He spends his days at Wegmans Food Markets providing incredible customer service to food lovers and observing the processes of consumer culture at it’s finest. He spends his nights drooling over local craft breweries and praying for the Bengals to make it to the Superbowl.
Resident Stress Counselor
Cincy is a toy fox terrier with a passion for sustainability. She wants a future in which her kin can run freely through fields of tall grass and swim through pollution free waters. When she’s not cuddling under the covers to avoid the cold, you can find her playing with her hot dog squeaky toy and annoying her mother.
